Aloha Spirit Therapy offers individual therapy services as well as relationship counseling online.

Rates For Services:

Individual Therapy—$230 for 50 minute sessions.

Relationship/Couples Therapy—$260 for 50 minute sessions.
(Please note that Aloha Spirit Therapy is inclusive and welcomes diversity, including consensual non-monogamy/polyamory relationships.)

Aloha Spirit Therapy collects payment through cash or credit card during each appointment. Each client is required to keep a credit card on file with Aloha Spirit Therapy that will be charged for no show or late cancellations and utilized for Telehealth sessions.

Cancelation Policy:

If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
Otherwise, you will be charged full payment for the missed session.

Insurance:

Aloha Spirit Therapy is not paneled with insurance companies including HMO and PPO plans. Although we are not paneled with insurance, we are considered an “Out of Network Provider” and many clients with PPO plans have experienced their insurance company will reimburse a percentage of the therapy cost. Upon the client’s request, we provide a monthly receipt, diagnosis, and codes needed for reimbursement.

We recommend you contact your insurance company directly to ask about reimbursement for “out of network” individual and relationship counseling services.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company

    1. Are there out-of-network benefits for this policy?
    2. Do I have mental or behavioral out-of-network benefits with this policy?
    3. What are the requirements to use the out of network benefits?
    4. Is prior authorization required?
    5. Is a referral from my primary care physician required?
    6. Do I have an out-of-network deductible?

If yes:

    1. What is my out-of-network deductible?
    2. How much of my out-of-network deductible has been met?
    3. What is the start date of the calendar year my out-of-network policy is based on?
  2. What percentage of the fees will be reimbursed for an out-of-network provider? Is there a limit on number of sessions that are reimbursable? Is a mental health diagnosis required for fee reimbursement? What is the process for filing a claim and what forms are required for reimbursement?
